Weekly Rides

We have a number of rides each week suitable for people of varying abilities.  All rides meet at Roberttown Community Centre.  Rides are advertised on our Facebook page or you can email us.

Tuesday evening

During the spring and summer we have a weekly ride meeting at the community centre for a prompt 6.30pm departure.  These rides are at a social pace and are usually between 10 and 20 miles.

​

Thursday ride

Thursday are leisurely rides which leave the Community Centre at 6:30pm and are suitable for hybrid and mountain bikes. The routes follow Greenways, canal tow paths, tracks and quiet roads.

 
Saturday ride

Meet at Roberttown Community Centre on Church Road at 8:30am (summer), 9:00am (winter)  .Rides are generally 40-50 miles in summer with shorter 30-40 mile rides in winter.

Ride details will be posted on our Facebook page each week.

Routes, where possible will include a cafe stop for tea and cakes.

The routes vary each week.

Throughout lockdown we created a series of Virtual Rides.  These are GPX files that can be downloaded from the Garmin Connect website and loaded onto a bike computer that supports GPX files for you to ride at your leisure.  Please see below for a list of rides we have published.  All rides are local to Roberttown Community centre and are a distance of between 15 and 25 miles.  If you have any problems accessing the files your need any help with them please email us.

Reporting Incidents

Any member who is involved in any incident while on a club ride should complete an incident report form and e mail a copy to the chairperson in order that cycling UK can be informed.
